Lister oil for clippers is made specially to lubricate horse clipping blades. 
Its unique formula does not irritate the horse's skin. 
It is essential to apply oil regularly during clipping to prevent the blades from overheating. 
After clipping, clean the clippers carefully and apply Lister Clipper Oil to help protecting the clippers head and blades from rust. 
Oil the blades every 10 minutes during clipping. 
When finished clipping and after having cleaned the clippers and the blades, oil the blades and run the clippers for about 10 seconds before storing them away.
